Much to be done here. Some adjustments to the face. Feathering and tonal modelling to the wings. The hands of both angels to be completed. Tomorrow is going to be a long day!

Neither can I! I just hope I don’t make a cock-up of this painting. Public humiliation in the Cathedral Church of the patron saint of Wales would be a tough call!
I’m glad you think so. I’m rather in despair with the painting at the moment, trying not to go up to the Battery to fret over it again, but rather come at it afresh tomorrow. I’m usually quite measured when I work, but deadlines like this make me very edgy. Right now I need food… still waiting for Peter to come home for supper… relaxation and an early night. Then an early start in the morning, when I’m at my best. Ho hum.
