Oh, Lordy….wish I could get there *sigh*. Lucky folk who get to it!
It’s a big fair. I’ll be lucky to get noticed. But thank you, Shellie, for the vote of confidence.
Lucky to get noticed??? Clive, honestly, your work will sing out beyond all the others!!!!
Well that’s very generous of you Shellie. Nevertheless, this artist has his occasional insecurities. One hopes it’s a shortcoming preferable to rampant cockiness, which I never find attractive in artists (I mention no names) or indeed in anyone else.
Is it just me or does anyone else wince when athletes prefix references to themselves with the adjective ‘elite’? Think about it for a moment. What would be thought of it, for instance, if artists prefixed themselves in such a way? But I digress. Insecurity, yes. A little of it is very likely a good thing. It grounds us in reality.

fantastic
Good to show in the big old city!
“Red head, black tattoo” is one of my favorites, i really love how you rendered the shadows around his very beautiful lips. He has the profile of Alexander, a very powerful image, I’m sure it will be admired. Have fun.
Well someone at the Art Fair admired it Leonard. The gallery website lists it as ‘sold’.
congratulations
Thank you Zoe.

I’m heart broken…congrats to you.
lucky londoners!
Awwww, you’re very sweet.
Strange. I almost feel as if I were there…
Well you will be, sort of!
So looking forward to seeing these images in the flesh at the London Art Fair. In Berlin at the moment where it’s c-c-c-cold so hope London is less wintry!
Hi Phil. I envy you being in Berlin. I could do with a dose of the Neues Museum right now. The art of the Egyptian Amarna always makes my spine tingle and my creative juices flow.
Love to you and Jan. Have a great time over there. I’ll have to imagine myself worshipping at the altar of all the fabulous Berlin-based German Expressionism, though that minx Nefertiti may become jealous!
Lol, thanks Clive, well we’ll give your regards to Nefertiti, hope to see you over here one day and we go and see her together. The city is cold and clear this morning with a light covering of snow and looks rather fabulous
Berlin in the snow. Sigh!
