  1. Love that very masterly control of the paint, Clive. Free and yet controlled at the same time. And the subtlety of those greys/blues/whites is delicious….. an exciting piece in the making (as ever!).

    • Thank you, Shellie. It’s interesting to return to this model, made originally for the filmed segments of The Mare’s Tale, and to re-examine it at the easel. It’s a flimsy thing of papier mâché and paint, made in a tearing hurry last summer, but it’s certainly paying dividends in terms of the use I’m getting out of it.
