The exhibition goes online on May 1st, so there’s just this weekend left for any of you who haven’t yet made your maquettes. Time to get painting and snipping if you want to join in the fun. I’ll be posting the exhibition in several stages, as there are many images to show. Above is a preview of a mystically beautiful maquette by Jodi le Bigre, who managed to create this lovely work while in the middle of preparing to move house. So no excuses from those of you who think you’re too busy to take part. Follow Jodi’s lead and make something wonderful.
Oh very good! It is really so rare that I get to be the good example and take away others’ excuses!! Thanks!
Oh, I missed this one! Is there a story behind it?
There is, Marly, and Jodi will tell it in her own words in the online exhibition.
Stunning work! An inspiration! Thanks for the link to an interesting new-to-me artist whose site I will now explore.
Looking forward to seeing the ‘maquette show’.
