beth’s scriptorium

Over at The Cassandra Pages, Beth has been explaining the process of getting hand-produced review copies of Thaliad ready in advance of publication, so that she can send them to Publishers Weekly, Booklist and Library Journal. Click on the above link to see how this has been done, and if you feel inclined, leave an encouraging comment for Beth to show your support. This is a massive task for a small outfit such as Phoenicia, and it’s a testament to Beth’s love of books generally… and her passion for Thaliad  in particular… that such energy and imagination are being poured into the preparations so that Marly’s poem will stand the best chance of garnering attention and sales when the book becomes available. Beth is making a mighty fine job of this project.

    • Hi Beth…I typed out a long message on your page but it wouldn’t let me post it! I’ll try again later but in case I get the same problem….it all looks utterly lovely and I really hope that I can own a copy of this gorgeous thing!

      • I wonder what was wrong, Shellie — I never got your message — but thank you very much indeed! I hope the book will be worth waiting for! It will be available in the UK and Europe through Amazon, as well as in North America, so perhaps that will make things easier.
